We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer specializing in micro services, Cloud Integrations, and Enterprise Platforms to drive technical excellence, innovation, and seamless integration across our enterprise ecosystem. This role demands deep technical expertise in CLOUD-driven architectures, Cloud-based platforms (Azure, Databricks), API integrations, and Salesforce CRM while partnering with Product Management, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Integration & Enterprise Platforms
- Design and implement modern cloud-native architectures leveraging Azure Data Lake, Databricks and Delta Share.
- Optimize enterprise-wide integration services using Azure Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, and Logic Apps.
- Ensure seamless data integration across Salesforce (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud), Azure, and third-party applications through REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like MuleSoft.
- Lead secured collaborative development environments for cross-functional teams.
2. Application Ownership & Technical Excellence
- Own the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of CLOUD, data, and integration platforms.
- Serve as a technical design authority, ensuring best practices in cloud scalability, security, and CLOUD governance from Integrations perspective.
- Implement and enforce ITMS (IT Management System) controls, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
3. Delivery Oversight & Vendor Management
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, working with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage vendor-led scrum teams and enforce best practices in software development, coding standards, and security policies.
- Define and drive the adoption of FinOps, CloudOps, and Governance models for CLOUD and cloud-based platforms.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive next-generation innovation projects, integration related CLOUD-driven automation.
- Optimize pharmaceutical research and commercial data workflows using cutting-edge CLOUD and data engineering tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical mentorship within the engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in cloud integrations, and enterprise platforms. Overall 16+ years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, and Databricks.
- Expertise in Salesforce (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and CRM integrations.
- Experience in designing scalable APIs, cloud-based microservices, and integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of security, ITMS controls, and compliance frameworks (GxP, FDA, EMA).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor governance skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect)
- Salesforce Certifications (Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Technical Architect)
- Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences industries.
- Knowledge of CLOUD-powered automation tools and CLOUD best practices.
