What will you do?
Maintenance of inventory master data.
Accounting of goods in transit.
Calculation of purchase price variance.
Execute month end close steps in accordance with month end close checklist (MEC) and SOP’s.
Responsible in the preparation of journal entries, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and execution of internal control in accordance with GSK Internal Control Framework.
Execute transaction interfaces between ERP systems; extraction of reports from ERP and Bison.
Raise and post journal entries.
Inventory reports.
Manufacturing overhead reports, OPEX.
Data collection for monthly and quarterly corporate reports.
Provide support to analyst members within the team thereby ensuring quality is maintained.
Data collection (KPI) to measure customer service levels.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Other ad-hoc activities like participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries
What will you learn?
Obtain high level overview of the month end close activities and reconciliations.
Obtain high level overview of control in accordance with GSK Internal Control Framework.
Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure successful SMAS month-end processes for manufacturing sites, including inventory, purchase price variations, and Opex.
