Dispensary Manufacturing Team Leader
Closing Date for Applications – 14th April (COB)
This is a site-based role at Worthing.
The Dispensary Team Leader has the responsibility to ensure that all of the required collation and dispensing of materials for the manufacturing areas on site are completed correctly. That all materials are delivered when required according to schedule whilst maintaining quality and safety standards for their area of responsibility

In this role you will:
- Ensure the dispensary facility is effectively run, meeting all of the required GMP and regulatory standards.
- Ensuring the safe loading, unloading, collating, dispensing and stowage of materials including completing all of the required system transactions.
- Ensuring the safe use of all manual handling equipment that individual technicians are licensed to operate.
- Provide support to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
- Use ‘GEMBA’ to identify ‘abnormalities’ from the standard and to resolve quickly. Ensure all escalations are taken through the Tiered Accountability process.
- Manage the dispensary team to include training and development, resource management and control, performance reviews, performance management, employee reward and recognition.

Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- GCSE level qualifications in Mathematics, Science & English.
- Full understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice in a Pharmaceutical Environment & EHS standards.
- Evidence of leading improvement activities.
- The ability to be trained and subsequent safe operation of all appropriate manual handling equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Legible handwriting, basic math and English skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- A-Level in English/Mathematics/Science &/or equivalent NVQ/T-Level.
- Managerial experience.
About Worthing Manufacturing Site:
Manufacturing at the Worthing site is for antibiotics. It is advised that you take this into consideration when deciding to apply for this position.
