Role Purpose:
To lead and manage field sales activities national wide to achieve and exceed the sales target within budgeted sales Opex. 
To lead the development and implementation of world class pharmaceutical sales excellence capabilities for business unit sales team.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1. Achieve and exceed the sales target 
1.1 Establish the sales organization structure and functions, run the operations to meet sales objectives and challenges in the market environment. 
1.2 Seek new business opportunities in order to drive performance
1.3 Develop annual sales plan to ensure the accomplishment of sales budget detailing priority, sales support budget assignment, sponsorship, key customer information, external meeting activity-planning etc.
1.4 Build up sales team’s selling and management competency 
1.5 Cooperate with SFA team to develop effective sales target allocation and sales bonus scheme
1.6 Manage selling expenses in terms of HC, field selling expenses and meeting costs
1.7 Work closely with different functions (BU marketing team, KA, SFA and other supporting functions) to ensure a team based approach to strategy and activity.
1.8 Build KOL/KDM relations and network to achieve strategic objectives
2. People/Team Management and development
2.1 Supervise and guide the work of subordinates (usually will be Regional 
Sales Manager), and support their development of leadership competence.
2.2 Articulate objectives, targets and direction of sales plan to direct reports and engage their commitment to deliver stated results.
2.3 Performance management and appraisals for subordinates.
2.4 Ensure a high level of motivation, morale and enthusiasm excise within the 
field sales force, via recognition, rewarding, etc
2.5 Implement talent review and develop succession plan, be responsible for people
development
2.6 Involve and assist the basic product and selling skill-training initiatives in 
consultation with training team to consistently improve sales team competency.
3. Others
3.1 Ensure compliance of sales force activities with GSK standards, Code of conduct, Sales Promotion Practice Guideline, etc.
3.2 Accomplish any other tasks assigned by the superior.

Qualifications/Requirements:  
1. University degree or above, preferably major in healthcare related.
2. Minimum 10 year’s solid working experiences in pharmaceutical industry, of which at least 5 years holding Regional Sales Manager position or above with MNCs, national level sales management responsibly will be preferred. 
3. Fluent Mandarin and basic English communication skills.
4. Aggressive, result orientation, creative and open-minded in order to adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
5. Strong leadership and capability to motivate and influence people whilst a team player at same time.
