About the role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Partner GSC Vaccines Belgium Operations & Quality – Support Functions, Capex & Assets management, the Finance Partner plays a critical role in providing strategic financial leadership, supporting decisions-making across the GSC Vaccines Belgium Operations & Quality - scope: Support functions

The Finance Partner will provide financial leadership, partnership and support to deliver GSC ambitions - breakthrough objectives with a strong focus on performance (Productivity – cost per dose), being part of Operational Leadership teams. The Finance Partner will roll out our GSK finance Strategy & visions (5 priorities) across the organization.

The Finance Partner will foster continuous improvement mindset and enhance financial acumen across the GSC Vaccines Belgium Operations & Quality

About the responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Leadership

  • Partner with Senior Leadership to define and execute financial strategies while ensuring alignment of financial goals with GSC business strategies, focusing on cost control, investment efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Develop Financial forecasts, budgets and long-term plans.
  • Analyse financial data to identify risks, opportunities and areas for process improvement
  • Provide strategic insights to improve operational efficiency, enhance cost-effectiveness and optimize capex expenditures

Manufacturing & Quality Financial Management

  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing Support & Quality costs, including labour, overheads, services contracts.
  • Track variances between actual and budgeted costs, providing detailed analysis and corrective actions – Risk & Opportunities to deliver ambitions (mitigation plan)
  • Oversee capital expenditure for manufacturing projects, ensuring appropriate investment decisions and cost management.
  • Enhance finance awareness and knowledge of Leadership team and employees, give trainings and develop and embed understanding of Financials and cost mindset.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Steer the GSK Finance Cycle with amongst other the preparation of monthly (MPR), quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Provide timely, accurate and actionable financial insights to key stakeholders

Finance Strategy & culture

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team and across GSC Vaccines Belgium Operations & Quality
  • Drive our GSK finance Strategy & visions (5 priorities) across the organization

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key Finance Partner to GSC Vaccines Belgium Operations & Quality
  • Support Senior Operational leaders in decision-making by providing actionable finance insights
  • Engage in cross-functional projects
  • Close partnership with GSK Finance HUB

About you

  • Bachelor degree and 5 years of experience; or university degree in accounting or finance (Accounting, Controlling, General Finance, Manufacturing accounting)
  • Leadership with strong analytical and Strategic thinking
  • Relationship and stakeholder management, communication skills
  • Ability to drive partnerships, influence and proactively challenge in a matrix organisation with senior leaders.
  • Experience in Finance Partnering
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a business partner within manufacturing industry and international environment.
  • Manufacturing / commercial business acumen o French required.
